Through the Director of Highways and Transportation, the Arkansas State Highway Commission (AHC), periodically procures Consultants for engineering and professional services to supplement ARDOT’s workforce. Whereas ARDOT’s forces are fully employed on other urgent work that prevents their early assignment to the project and the Consultant’s staff is adequate and well qualified and their current workload permits the completion of the project on schedule, therefore it is considered to be in the best public interest for AHC to obtain the assistance of the Consultant’s organization in connection with engineering and professional services.
