LITTLE ROCK (1-5) Crews working on the rehabilitation of Interstate 40 and the Levy Bridge in North Little Rock will require the closure of Pike Avenue for portions of two days, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

     Weather permitting, Pike Avenue, in the vicinity of the Levy Bridge, will be closed January 8 and 9 from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. each day as crews remove safety platforms under the bridge.

     McArthur Drive (Highway 365) will remain open and detour signs will be in place to direct traffic through the area.

     As always, motorists are urged to consider an alternate route and exercise caution when approaching or traveling through highway work zones.
