PUBLIC HEARING TO BE HELD IN POTTSVILLE
LITTLE ROCK (3-6) The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Location and Design Public Hearing in Pottsville to discuss plans for the Russellville Bypass, according to AHTD officials.
The meeting will be held Thursday, March 15, 2007, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria of Pottsville High School, 500 Apache Drive, in Pottsville.
Plans call for constructing a southern bypass of Russellville on Highway 247. A revised Preferred Alternative, including a local connector road from the bypass across Pine Ridge Road to Apache Drive, will be presented. The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
