HIGHWAY 5 FRONTAGE ROAD CLOSURE SCHEDULED IN CABOT AREA WORK ZONE
LITTLE ROCK (3-7) Crews working on the Highway 5 widening project between Highway 67/167 and Highway 89 will have to close part of the frontage road early next week to shift traffic to the new frontage road, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.
Weather permitting, the work could start as early as Monday, March 12 and is scheduled to be completed by Tuesday, March 13. Detour signs will be in place to direct traffic through the area.
As always, motorists are urged to consider an alternate route and exercise caution when approaching or traveling through highway work zones.
