WHO: Arkansas Highway Commission Chairman Jonathan Barnett, AHTD Director Dan Flowers, other AHTD officials, representatives of the Arkansas Chapter of the Associated General Contractors and others.
WHAT: A news conference to give an update about the Highway 67/167 construction zone in the North Little Rock/Sherwood area and a brief summary of tips to use while driving through construction zones.
WHEN: Thursday, April 5 at 1:30 pm.
WHERE: The event will take place on the newly paved, but unopened section of northbound Highway 67/167 between the Wildwood and Kiehl overpasses near Kohl’s and the Eagle Bank and Trust.
From northbound Highway 67/167, take Exit 3 (Wildwood Avenue and Trammel Road), turn left at the stop sign, access the northbound on-ramp and go onto the new pavement before entering Highway 67/167.
WHY: April is recognized around the country as a time for Work Zone Safety Awareness.
