LANE CLOSURE CONTINUES ON INTERSTATE 440

    LITTLE ROCK (11-29)

A routine inspection of the elevated portion of Interstate 440 in Little Rock will continue to require a lane closure beginning on Monday, December 3rd, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

Crews will be inspecting the elevated portion of Interstate 440 between the south terminal interchange with Interstate 30 and the Little Rock Airport beginning Monday, December 3rd and continuing through Friday, December 7th.  Crews will close the westbound, outside lane between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day, weather permitting.  This is a continuation of the type of work that was performed last week in the eastbound lanes.

As always, motorists are urged to exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
