LITTLE ROCK (12-6) 

     The City of Lonoke, in cooperation with the Ark ansas St ate Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD), will hold a Public Involvement Meeting in Lonoke to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 89, according to AHTD officials.

     The meeting will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2007, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Lonoke Community Center , 1355 West Front Street , in Lonoke.

     The proposed project will construct a new interchange at Highway 89 and Interstate 40 in Lonoke.
