WORK WILL REQUIRE LANE CLOSURES ON INTERSTATE 530 IN SALINE COUNTY

 LITTLE ROCK (3-30)

 Crews doing bridge repair work on the Highway 167 bridge over Interstate 530 in Saline County will require lane closures this week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

 The work will be located over the southbound lanes of Interstate 530 and will require stopping southbound traffic on Interstate 530 for up to 15 minute intervals.  The lane closures will take place on Wednesday, April 1st, weather permitting.  Closures will be in effect between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.       

As always, motorists are urged to use an alternate route if possible and to exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
