The Project Development Section handles a variety of functions. This section programs Department projects and assigns state and federal-aid project numbers. This section also maintains a database and creates location maps for all Department mapping needs. This section assists in the development of and amendments to the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). |
Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP)
The Program Support Section handles a variety of functions. This section programs Department projects, assigns state and federal-aid project numbers, adjusts funding allotments, requests authorization to obligate federal funds, and manages the balance of all federal-aid funding categories. This section also maintains a database and creates location maps for all Department projects along with various other Department mapping needs. This section assists in the development of and amendments to the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP).
