The Public Involvement (PI) Section facilitates intra-departmental and public involvement meetings as required by NEPA, responds and addresses citizen inquiries, and ensures ARDOT’s compliance with all federal and state regulations and guidelines as they pertain to Environmental Justice, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and Limited English Proficiency communities. The meeting’s time, location and nature of the proposed project will be described in news releases through local print, broadcast media and flyers distributed in the project area. All meetings facilities are in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
Current meetings are listed below, as well as on the front page of this web site.
Previous public meetings can be found in the Public Meetings Archive.
This section also addresses and documents the impacts of highway projects as they relate to the social environment, Environmental Justice and Title VI concerns.
