The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department has studied proposed improvements to Highway 7 in Perry County and how the proposed construction could affect the South Fourche Campground, owned by the U.S. Forest Service Ouachita National Forest.
A document is available for your review that contains an assessment of potential impacts to the recreational values of the South Fourche Campground. Protective actions that will be used to minimize these impacts are also included.
Interested citizens are encouraged to stop by the Ouachita National Forest Jessieville-Winona-Fourche Ranger District at 8607 North Highway 7 in Jessieville, where the document can be viewed during normal business hours. The document is also available below.
